Gilbert King grew up in Schenectady, N.Y. and has written for many newspapers and magazines including The Washington Post, The San Diego Union, Playboy and Ring Magazine.  He is also a photographer whose work has appeared in many U.S. and international magazines including Glamour, Jane, Vogue Japan, Harper’s Bazaar Espanol, Madame Figaro and Cosmopolitan.  He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
